About Me
Mary Zavala is a 3rd Grade teacher who has been teaching for 19 years – all at one school, Dr. C.M. Cash Elementary. She attended the University of Texas at Brownsville where she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree. She currently holds the following certifications: Elementary Classroom Teacher 1-8; Spanish 1-8, Reading 1-8. In addition, she is a certified Bilingual Teacher. Mrs. Zavala’s drive and motivation are her students as she hopes to inspire them to do their best and reach their full potential. She also tries to instill in them a love for learning and believing in themselves. Mrs. Zavala enjoys making chants to aid her students in learning new skills. Furthermore, she often tells her students that “Every problem has a solution!” to encourage them to never give up.
Aside from teaching, Mrs. Zavala enjoys watching football (Green Bay Packers), spending time with her family, and sightseeing. Mrs. Zavala may be reached at [email protected].
